Food for thought

The attached link below is a very informative  article published recently in The Guardian.  In a world with a rapidly-expanding population, the food industry has had to speed up its food production; with not necessarily the ideal result.

 

Nevertheless, there are still ways we can enjoy fresh and wholesome food whilst at the same time minimising the toxins.  One way is to wash the food in a specific manner in order to remove as much of the pesticides as possible.  Another way is to opt for organic, local and seasonal produce as much as possible.
